We have also been there, where the whole world of literature met at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2017. For five days you could talk about the latest trends in books and eBooks, discover new things and meet interesting new people. It goes without saying that we wanted to present ourselves and our solution for Browser Reading there for the first time.
While strolling through the trade fair halls you could see how inquisitive and enthusiastic about innovations the visitors were. At our booth we could also notice this curiosity and enthusiasm. Our visitors were really interested in our solution and asked a lot of questions about it. This created a lot of interesting conversations with publishers, authors and book lovers.
Our visitors were asked to answer a short questionnaire while they ate some of our delicious ice cream and relaxed in our comfy deckchairs. We wanted to find out which aspects of sgrol.io are most appreciated by potential customers and prospects. They could choose between
Reader Analytics got the most response, which of course gave us much pleasure and confirmed and strengthened our ideas and developments. It also helped us in our quest to change digital publishing.
Another great possibility to present and introduce us to the world of publishers was the digital walkabout. Thanks to Steffen Meier from the dpr, who organized the digital walkabout, we participated at short notice. During three lecture slots, two of them took place in our hotspot, Konstantin had 30 minutes to talk about the product and our philosophy. This resulted in some interesting and exiting discussions.
Our short video gives you an overview, how we experienced the Frankfurt Book Fair. We had some interesting discussions with publishing houses, authors and book lovers, which resulted in the collaboration with the Turkish professor and author Oguz Dinc.
As France was the guest country at the Book Fair in 2017, we welcomed some French visitors at our booth. Besides the French, visitors from a dozen countries and all continents found their way to us.
